2004 and 2005 Small Business Awards

Dentist Dr Fred Calavassy was surprised and delighted when the practice won the category for 'Outstanding Professional Services' for the second year in a row, at the Small Business Awards Gala Presentation Evening, on 20 th July, 2005, at the Castle Hill RSL. This makes them winners for 2004 and 2005 in their category.

This was only topped by Dental Excellence winning the overall "Business of the Year for 2005" that night. This is the most coveted and prestigious business award in the Baulkham Hills Shire.

Dental Excellence of Castle Hill was nominated by their clients, who complete nomination coupons which appear in the local press. Out of all the nominations received, only 4 finalists are chosen, in each category, based on the number of nominations received; however nomination numbers do not determine the winners.

The finalists are then judged to determine the winner, by being visited anonymously by independent local and industry judges.

All finalists are assessed from a customer's viewpoint which includes the following criteria:

· Professional Service

· General Appearance

· Range of Products or Services

· Value for Money

· Customer Relations

It has been a great year for the team at Dental Excellence. Not only did they take out the coveted "Business of the Year" award in the 2005 Hills Shire Small Business Awards, but recently they were named as WINNER of the category of "Professional Services". A capacity audience watched with great anticipation as the Winners of the 7th Annual Small Business Awards Champion of Champions were announced on Saturday 5th November at Star City Casino.
